ED/DBL Coordinator

Education Coordinator Role:

  • Candidate must be experienced in developing and implementing a curriculum preferably following Creative Curriculum.
  • Demonstrate great leadership that motivates Center Directors to build on their passion for educating children.
  • Preferably the candidate will have knowledge and experience of Head Start or DOE requirements.

Disabilities Coordinator Role:

  • Candidate must have a strong background in Special Education.
  • Candidate must be familiar with services provided to children and families with disabilities.
  • Adopt and maintain accurate monitoring systems.
  • Must be a good communicator capable of engaging parents and staff to achieve their goals.

The candidate is required to travel between centers in Brooklyn and Staten Island as needed.

Qualifications

 Educational Director

We are currently seeking a Educational Director with a NYS Early Childhood Education (Birth – Grade 2) Certification. Qualifications:
  • NYS Teaching Certification in Early Childhood Education (Birth – Grade 2), required
  • Bachelors/Master’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related field.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Program Director. You will be responsible for assisting in the delivery and overall success of each BumbleBeesRus school program. A successful Assistant Program Director must have a broad knowledge of early childhood education program management principles. They must have a strategic mindset and be well organized. The goal is to ensure every program will be delivered successfully and add the highest possible value to the organization. This position will be assisting the Program Director on day-to-day administrative tasks. They must be detailed oriented with great interpersonal skills as constant communication with program leaders is needed. A degree in Early Childhood Education with knowledge of compliance in an ECE/DOH/DOE setting is crucial. Responsibilities
  • Initiate and set goals for programs according to the strategic objectives of the organization
  • Plan the programs from start to completion involving deadlines, milestones and processes
